About 1,310 of the $65-$75 walkers sold this year fit through doorways and fail to stop at stairs, and their leg openings can trap a child's head, regulators say.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 1,310 Wnttmt-brand infant walkers sold on Amazon by the third-party seller WURUI.BABY, saying the walkers violate the mandatory federal safety standard for infant walkers and pose fall and head-entrapment risks.
The hazard
CPSC says the gray, eight-wheeled walkers — sold with a white tray and adjustable to three height levels — can pass through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step, creating a fall hazard on stairs. Separately, the leg openings are wide enough that a child can slip down until their head becomes entrapped. No injuries have been reported.
What owners should do
The walkers, which sold for $65 to $75 on Amazon between February and March 2026, can't simply be returned. CPSC's remedy requires owners to disassemble the walker, cut the fabric seat, write "Recalled" on the tray in permanent marker, photograph the destroyed product, and email the photo to WURUI.BABY at wbabywalker-recall@outlook.com to receive a full refund.
Part of a wider wave
The Wnttmt recall was one of several infant-walker actions CPSC announced in the same window, including warnings against WonderStone-, Uuoeebb-, and Fyzvexo-branded walkers sold on Amazon and Walmart.com for similar fall and entrapment violations. Infant walkers have been required to meet a federal stop-at-stairs and entrapment standard for years; regulators say noncompliant models continue to reach U.S. shoppers through third-party online marketplaces.
