We do not run our own product tests
THRYV does not operate a test lab and does not claim hands-on testing. Our ratings are based on publicly available manufacturer data, independent test reports, user reviews and price data, weighted according to our published criteria.
Step by step
- We define the product class and publish the criteria and weights.
- We collect manufacturer data and independent test results, and link the sources.
- We review user feedback from several retailers for recurring faults.
- We check current prices; a price older than seven days is labelled as pending, never shown as current.
- We calculate the weighted score and name our pick.
Updates and corrections
Comparisons are reviewed when new models, new independent test results or significant price changes appear. Errors are corrected with a dated note.
