The problem we are trying to solve

Most product and money coverage online is assembled rather than reported: specifications restated from a manufacturer's page, rankings written to fit an affiliate feed, and 'reviews' produced without the product ever being handled. It reads plausibly and it is close to worthless at the moment of decision.

THRYV is built on the opposite assumption — that a recommendation is only worth publishing if we can show the work behind it, and that a reader is owed the sources, the method and the commercial context in the same place as the conclusion.

What we commit to

  • Original writing only. We never republish, translate or reword agency or wire copy, and we cite and link primary sources rather than reproducing them.
  • No verdict without testing. A score, ranking or recommendation is published only for products we have used against a documented protocol.
  • No fabricated anything. We do not invent quotes, statistics, testimonials, ratings or expert credentials, and we do not use synthetic personas as bylines.
  • Commercial transparency. Advertising, sponsored placement and affiliate links are labelled where they appear and never influence editorial ordering or assessment.
  • Honest incompleteness. Sections still being built say so. We would rather show an empty shelf than fill it with filler.

How we are funded

THRYV is funded by display advertising and, where relevant, affiliate commission on products readers choose to buy. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no access to editorial planning, no advance sight of coverage and no ability to alter a published assessment. Our advertising policy and affiliate disclosure set out the boundaries in detail.

Editorial scope

We publish across technology and AI, money and business, shopping and reviews, health and lifestyle, home and garden, travel and automotive. The common thread is decision support: the reader is about to spend money, time or attention, and needs the considerations laid out honestly.
