1. Originality

Every article is written from scratch by the THRYV News Desk. We do not republish, paraphrase or lightly rewrite copy from wire services, agencies or other publications. Where another outlet's reporting informs a piece, we describe the finding in our own words, attribute it explicitly, and link to the original article rather than reproducing its text.

2. Sourcing and citation

  • Primary sources first: central bank statements, regulator publications, statistical releases, company filings and investor relations material.
  • Every article carries a visible Sources section with outbound links.
  • We do not use anonymous sourcing for claims we cannot corroborate in a published document.
  • We do not fabricate quotes, statistics, testimonials or product ratings under any circumstances. Where a piece is illustrative rather than data-led, we say so in the piece.

3. Data and figures

Financial data moves constantly. Where a number would be stale by the time it is read, we direct readers to the live primary release instead of printing a figure. Any placeholder or illustrative figure that appears in a template or sample article is labelled as such and is replaced with sourced data before that content is presented as current.

4. Corrections

We correct errors promptly and visibly. Substantive corrections are noted on the article with the date and nature of the change; the updated date on the byline always reflects the most recent substantive edit. To report an error, write to newsroom@thryv-affiliate.com with the article URL and the specific claim in question. We aim to respond within five business days.

5. Independence from advertising

Advertising and affiliate partnerships do not influence what we cover, how we assess a product, or the order in which products appear in a guide. Advertisers see no editorial content before publication and cannot request removal or amendment of coverage. Full terms: advertising & affiliate disclosure.

6. Conflicts of interest

Contributors disclose personal holdings or relationships relevant to any assignment, and are recused where a conflict cannot be managed by disclosure.

7. Use of automation

Where automated tooling assists with research, drafting or formatting, output is reviewed, verified against primary sources and edited by a human before publication. Responsibility for accuracy rests with the newsroom, not the tooling.

8. Scope of our reporting

We publish general information and analysis, not personalised financial, tax or legal advice, and we do not make individual recommendations to buy or sell.
