The takeaway

TooyBing has recalled about 21,758 Wooden Bead Stacking Toys after finding the toy's beads violate small-parts standards for children under three, posing a choking hazard, per an August 13, 2026 CPSC notice. No injuries have been reported. The remedy requires owners to cut the toy's laces and photograph the destroyed toy, but compliant replacements won't be available until October 2026.

TooyBing has recalled about 21,758 Wooden Bead Stacking Toys after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission found the toy violates small-parts rules meant for children under three, creating what the agency calls a deadly choking hazard from the wooden beads. The recall was announced August 13, 2026. No injuries have been reported.

Where the toy was sold

The toy, model TB-MZWJ, was sold on Amazon.com between July 2023 and December 2025 for about $10. It's made by Guangzhou Kun Feng Mao Yi You Xian Gong Si, doing business as TooyBing, in China.

An unusually long wait for a replacement

CPSC's remedy asks owners to destroy the toy immediately — cutting the string laces, marking the stand 'RECALLED,' and emailing photo proof — before a compliant replacement is sent. But the notice states that compliant replacement units won't be available until October 2026, meaning families who act now on the safety instruction will be without a replacement toy for roughly two months.

How to take part

Email photo proof of the destroyed toy to tooybingwoodenbeadrecall@gmail.com and register for the replacement program to receive a compliant unit once it becomes available.

Parents and caregivers with the toy in a home with children under three are advised to remove it from use immediately regardless of the replacement timeline, given the choking risk CPSC describes.
