Planet Fitness grew revenue 7.1% in the second quarter of 2026 even as the pace of new membership growth cooled, the company said in results released the week of August 6. The gym chain leaned on share buybacks and equipment sales to support earnings while same-store sales growth slowed to 1.7%.
