What owners should do

Stellantis says dealers will inspect the second-row seat belt buckle anchors and properly refasten them to the body structure at no cost to owners. The company notified dealers on August 6, and owner notification letters are scheduled to begin mailing August 18, 2026. Owners can check whether their truck is included through the NHTSA recall lookup tool at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or by contacting a Ram dealer directly.

Stellantis has not said what triggered the discovery of the anchor issue.
