A six-seat garden table is a claim about the tabletop, not about six adults eating comfortably. Before comparing prices, the useful work is measuring.
- Allow roughly 60 cm of table edge per person, and check the leg positions — a corner leg removes a seat in practice.
- Leave at least 75 cm behind each chair so it can be pushed back without leaving the paving.
- Match table height to seat height: about 28–30 cm of clearance between seat and tabletop.
- Weigh the wind risk. Light aluminium and glass move; if the terrace is exposed, choose mass or plan on storing.
- Check the parasol hole diameter against the parasol you actually own before ordering either.
