How the deals are timed

Rather than releasing everything at once, Amazon says new "Today's Big Deals" will drop three times a day — at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT — through the two-day window, meaning the best individual deals will change throughout each day rather than sitting static.

If you don't have Prime

Amazon Haul, the company's low-price marketplace tab, will feature seasonal items starting at $1 and does not require a Prime membership to browse or buy. The core Big Deal Days event, however, remains Prime-exclusive — a free trial is the only way to access it without a paid membership. The sale is also running in 22 countries, though Amazon notes exact dates vary by region.
